With a global supplier base of 8000 suppliers, Leonardo honoured just 16 companies with this accolade, and Avonmouth Engineering Services were 1 of only 5 in the UK. Branding the company as “Agile, Adaptable & Accommodating”, Leonardo pronounced them a “critical and crucial part of the UK Plant Maintenance Department” going on to state that “without their continued support life in the department would be very challenging and have a huge impact on the availability of plant equipment to the business”.

Avonmouth Engineering Services in their previous guise, have worked with Leonardo since 1990. After the company was acquired by the Hidrostal Group in 2020 the team has completely rebuilt a trusted partnership providing great efficiencies to further enhance the capabilities of the department.
Unique on-site service
Upon receiving their award Avonmouth Engineering Services confirmed that they will continue to develop their unique service to maximise the uptime and availability of the machinery at the Yeovil site. They praised Leonardo for the depth of their partnership, which includes having a permanent presence at the Leonardo Yeovil site where three Avonmouth employees are fully embedded within the site maintenance team.
