Over the course of a motor’s life, insulation resistance can occur, triggered by contamination, vibration and power surges. Rewinding an electric motor can improve insulation resistance and improve the efficiency of your motor at the same time.
Using in house manufactured coils we have the capability to rewind many types of motors, including split phase, capacitor-start, repulsion, repulsion-start, repulsion-induction, three-phase induction, universal and DC. All our sites have pyrolysis (burn-off) ovens which safely burn off the old insulations before a full motor rewind eliminating any possible damage to the stator during the repair.
Hidrostal utilise highly skilled service technicians for the motor rewind process and test extensively throughout each stage. We can provide, depending from the region, the service in our workshop or even in-situ to return your machine to as new condition and in some cases to even higher efficiencies than before the repair.
Our service technicians advise whether a new winding on an existing stator is in balance with the sustainability of our product or the cost-effectiveness of a new winding.
