Dr. Daniel Häring, Swiss, born in 1978, studied law at the University of Basel, graduating in 2003 as the top of his class and obtaining his doctorate in law (Dr. iur.) in 2005 (both with summa cum laude). In 2006, he was admitted to the bar of the canton of Basel-Landschaft. Daniel Häring worked as a research assistant at the University of Basel and as a court clerk at the Cantonal Court of Basel-Landschaft before joining the law firm böckli bühler partner as an attorney in 2007, where he has been a partner since January 1, 2012. His main areas of practice include commercial and corporate law (“business law”). In addition, Daniel Häring serves as a part-time judge at the Cantonal Court of Basel-Landschaft and as a member of the cantonal bar examination commission. In 2018, he was elected to the Board of Directors of Hidrostal Holding AG, becoming Chairman of the Board in the summer of 2022. As an attorney, judge, and member of several boards of directors, Daniel Häring has extensive experience in strategic corporate management and corporate governance. His focus lies in combining legal expertise with entrepreneurial responsibility – particularly in the areas of risk management, compliance, and sustainable corporate development. This combination enables him to provide well-founded assessments of complex legal issues and to implement practical solutions within a board of directors setting.

Rolf Schweizer, Swiss, born 1974, took over the management of the Hidrostal Group in spring 2022. He has over 30 years of experience in the industrial B2B environment, including around 20 years in responsible management roles in an international context. Before joining the Hidrostal Group, he spent around 7 years in Germany, where he was responsible for Voith Turbo's industrial business as CEO, among other things. Prior to his time in Germany, he held various challenging positions at STADLER RAIL (5 years), at GDELS-MOWAG (8 years) and at SULZER (5 years). Rolf Schweizer holds a degree in mechanical engineering with further education in information technology and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen.
